There are times when I’m alone on the train or taking a longer-than-is-environmentally-responsible shower that my brain starts to swirl with a grand sense of clarity. Thoughts and answers and inspiration generate out of the ether and I’m left with a growing balloon of musings that need escape. It is during this influx of ideas that I feel my vision swell to near-bursting and my need for creative release is so great that I have to grab the nearest piece of paper, dictation device, phone, or computer and record the thoughts before they’re gone again. This is a feeling that I chase every waking moment.
My name is Zach. Over 30+ years of life, I’ve discovered that the key to unlocking my potential lives and dies by my attitude and mindfulness. If I’m not present in every moment and appreciating the detail of my life’s unfolding plot, then I am not happy. I am not content. I am not operating at peak efficiency. Simplicity, positivity, perspective, right-thinking, and finding inspiration are all fundamental human needs for achieving a sense of well-being.
It is with the above in mind that I was compelled to create Visionswell: a repository of articles, essays, and art intended to help and inspire others, evolve my own perspective, and explore unfamiliar paths to self-care with the goal of changing negative habits and unhealthy thinking while simultaneously allowing me a safe, focused, creative outlet.
The content is divided into:
Self-care: Mental, social, and career health & wellness
Positivity: Uplifting news articles & personal stories
Wisdom: Philosophical exploration & grander questions of existence
Inspiration: Art & literature intended to motivate creativity
Please feel free to contact me if you have any articles or stories you’d like to pass along, you’d like to be interviewed, or you’d like to share your own written or visual creations.
